"Arizona Classic Broncos Stampede", March 2003, cont......... Part IV |
|
Saturday we woke up to an awesome Arizona morning....... a quick stop to the registration table ..... and then everyone got in their respective lineups! We decided to give Lower and Upper Ajax a try with Vince's rig!
This little spot snuck up on Vince! His tire went way up in the air. The next stop I saw Vince casually trying to remove the seat cover from the crack of his a**. I think he left teeth marks!
Kerry blasting the obstacle......
Getting a little help from your friends! Proof that Steve should not have listened to the camera man for a spot!! :)
Mike seeing what his friend's steering box would take! He broke his a week earlier and had a loaner on! Great driver, nice rig!
Our friend's from Canada! Didn't get a chance to meet them in person, but I did snoop around his rig quite a bit.!! WOW! Custom frame, body, suspension, etc!!! Way to go! He did receive the award for the longest trip to the stampede!
It was great to Keith from Protofab on the trail again! It had been 8 months since his rig had seen the dirt!
Steve George from Farmington trying out the Arizona granite! Add a little water and have some slip and slid'n fun!
Taad working the left side of the waterfall. Yes, this Arizona waterfall actually had water flowing down it from recent rains!
Vinnie rock hopping to get lined up for the waterfall. We managed to find those diff skid plates a couple of times!
Matt trying the high road! Big tires fall into big holes!!
Once we were done with Ajax, it was time to head back to camp for the raffle!
continue to part V.....
Just take me to all the pics!
