Chevy Disc Brake Conversion for Early Broncos D44, D30 |
||||
I finally scrounged up enough parts to do the Che*y disk brake conversion. I based my parts search on the technical write up at http://www.bronco.com/tech/upgrades/disc_brakes/index.html The hard parts to find were the banjo bolts & caliper pins. After seeing Quinnīs luck at http://www.autozone.com/ for the loaded calipers, I tried to order most of the parts on line through them. After two hours fumbling on their website, I gave up and took the price list that I printed out and went to Checkerīs and order all the parts through them. Of course all their prices were higher, but they have a match plus 5% policy. SO I ended up getting 5% extra off of Autozoneīs website prices. Here is a quick parts list and part numbers for the purchased items and the vehicle type I used: | ||||
